Lauki (Bottle Gourd) is good for health and have lots of nutritional benefits. Lauki juice helps in weight loss, sleeping disorder, hair growth & enriched with vitamins. Most of the us don't like bottle Gaurd curry, even i also don't like it. Thats why i have switched to Bottle Gourd kofta curry. Its a side dish and can be combined with steamed rice & fulkas. So lets start...
For pakodas, mix all the pokadas ingredient & make round ball size & fry in hot oil on medium flame .
When pokadas become golden brown remove them from oil
In a pan add oil , add the ginger , garlic , ceshew , stir it for 3 second ,then add the chopped onion & fry for 2 min ,when the onion becomes transparent, switch off the flame & blend it to a smooth paste .
Add oil in pan , add cumin seeds , when it cracks than add red chilli powder , turmeric powder , green chilli & fry it well .
Add the blended onion paste & fry it well.
After that add tomato puree fry it well , add salt , coriander powder , garam masala. Fry it & notice when oil releases from pan then you know the masala is ready. Now add water into it & boil it for 2 minutes then add the koftas (If you want then add cream and boil it for another 2 minutes & close the lead , boil it well , when the kofta absorbs the masala, add chopped coriander leaves .
Switch off the flame & serve it with rice or roti .
