Masala Puffed Rice is a very famous snacks item in India. And you get easily available in everywhere. In different places known as different names. Many say it as Bhel, murmura, murmure, kurmura but in odisha, its called as Mudhi. It's a very light snacks item. If you are traveling somewhere then you can take it in an air tight plastic bag or an air tight container. I always make a large quantity of Masala puffed rice. And store it in an airtight container. Best for the children. In 10-15 minutes of effort, you can get a chatpata Masala snacks item. Follow my step to step instruction & do try at your home.

  • 4 Cup Puffed Rice
  • 1/2 Cup Peanuts
  • 1/2 Cup Any Mixture
  • 7-8 Chopped garlic
  • 3 Red Chilies
  • 6-7 Curry leaves
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp Mustard Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Masala Puffed Rice
Instructions
  1. Dry Roast the Puffed Rice in Low Flame. After the Puffed Rice Roast the Peanuts Slightly.
  2. Heat a pan add Mustard Oil, add chopped garlic. Roast the garlic well.
  3. Add the red chilies, Curry Leaves & Peanuts. Saute for a second.
  4. At last add the turmeric powder & salt mix well. And then switch off the flame.
  5. Add the Roasted Puffed Rice, Slowly mix it with the masala. Add any type of Mixture or Bhujia (Optional).
  6. When its cool down store it in a Air Tight Container.
  7. Enjoy !!!
