Nimki is a famous snack (Tea time snacks) item, in india. It is a mixture of all-purpose flour, oil, kalonji & ginger, green chilli paste. Make a smooth dough. Rest for 20 minutes, after that make the nimki & deep fried it. You can store it for 15 days in an airtight container.

  • 1 cup All purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Kalonji
  • 1 tsp Ginger/green chilli crushed
  • 1/4 tsp Cooking soda (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Water as you needed

Instructions
  1. In a bowl mix all the above ingredients, mix it well.
  2. Add water little & little kened for a smooth dough. Cover the dough in a muslin cloth & keep aside for 20 minutes.
  3. Make small sizes of balls equal balls. take a one ball, spread some flour & roll it like thin chapati.
  4. Fold it like square size & slightly press it. Make same with the rest of the balls.
  5. Heat oil for deep frying. put one by one in medium flame. Fry it one side properly than flip into another side, till it becomes golden brown.
  6. Remove from the heat. When it becomes cool than store it in a airtight cointainer.
  7. serve it with hot tea.
  8. Enjoy !!!
