Today I have prepared Palak Dum Biriyani, one of my favourite dishes which taste is amazing having rich nutritional benefits too. Your kids must love it because of the green color & you know very well, kids search color in their foods. If some vegetarian guests visit your home then you can cook it easily & serve them & definitly they would love to relish your biriyani. So let's make it ....

Ingredients
  • 2.5 Cup Spinach / Palak
  • 2 Cup Basmati rice Boiled
  • 1 Cup Paneer Cube Size
  • 1 Medium Onion
  • 1.5 Tsp Ginger / garlic paste
  • 1 Tbps Green chilli ( chopped )
  • 1/2 Cup Tomato ( chopped )
  • 1/4 Tsp Cumin seeds
  • Few Pieces Whole garam masala 4 Clovers, 2 Cardamom ,1" Size Cinnamon
  • 1 Pc Bay leaf
  • 1/4 Tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Red chilli
  • 4 to 5 Pc cashews
  • 6 to 7 Pc Rainse
  • 1 Cup Curd
  • 1/2 Cup coriander leave ( chopped )
  • 2 Tsp Salt
  • 2 Tsp Ghee
  • 2 to 3 Tbps Oil

  • 4 to 5 Pc cashews

  • 2 Tsp Salt
  • 2 Tsp Ghee
  • 2 to 3 Tbps Oil
Palak Dum Biriyani
Instructions
  1. Soak the rice for 15 minutes , drain & keep aside.
  2. Chop the palak leaves & grind it to a smooth paste.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, add the cashews, rainse, fry for 1 minute, then add the paneer cubes, fry it, when it becomes light golden remove it.
  4. Add cumin seeds ,whole spices, when the oil gets flagrant add sliced onion , green chilli,fry till the onion becomes golden brown.
  5. Add the ginger / garlic paste , stir it well , now add the chopped tomato, fry it till the tomoto becomes soft.
  6. Add salt ,turmeric powder , red chilli powder , stir it well , then add the paneer ,fried cashew, raisins , curd & palak puree , stir it well & boil for 5 to 6 minutes.
  7. Add half of chopped coriender leaves
For Dum
  1. Take a handi add ghee , now add 1 layer of palak curry , 1 layer of half boiled rice it , continue it. Finally add remaining chopped coriander leaves & cover it for 15 minutes ( in low flame )
  2. After 15 minutes open it & serve it . Enjoy!
