Parathas is famous in north India where it's a traditional staple food. The flour used is finely ground wholemeal (atta) and the dough is shallow fried.Parathas can be eaten as a breakfast dish or as a tea-time (tiffin) snack. Most common variants of parathas are spiced potatoes (aloo ka parantha), Muli paratha, Gobi paratha, Egg paratha & so on. FOR DOUGH
  • 3 cup Wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Water
FOR STUFFING
  • 100 gm Paneer
  • 2 tsp Green chilli
  • 2 tsp Coriander leaves
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp Mango powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions
  1. In a bowl add wheat flour , salt. Mix it well & add little water into it , knead it well .
  2. Don't make it into much soft dough .
  3. Cover it & keep aside for 20 minutes .
  4. Now in a bowl add all the stuffing ingredients & mix them well .
  5. Divide the dough into equal parts , take one dough ball & roll it out using a rolling pin into a thick circle of approx 4 -5 inch diameter .
  6. Put the stuffing in the centre , wrap it with sides of rolled circle , seal the edges & again give it a round ballshape again & now rolle it out gently like roti (do it carefully otherwise stuff will come outside ) .
  7. Now heat the tawa over medium flame & place the paratha into it .
  8. When tiny bubbles start appearing, flip to otherside & add oil & repeat the flip until golden brown spots apper on both side.

  9. Transfer it to a plate , if you want then add butter & serve with raita & pickle , apply the same process with remaining dough .
